CHARLES RENNIE MACKINTOSH 1868- 1928

Scottish Architect and designer of genius. Considered by many, to be the founder of 'Modernist' Architecture.

An acknowledged Mackintosh masterpiece, is the Glasgow School of Art, which he designed in two phases between 1897 and 1909. Part of the second phase, was the famous Library, for which he also designed the furniture and lighting.
